Verdezyne Wins Bloomberg's New Energy Pioneer Award

Picked as One of 10 Game-Changing Companies from Around the World in Recognition of Innovation, Scalability and Momentum
CARLSBAD, Calif. — April 4, 2016 —Verdezyne, Inc., a synthetic biology company producing biobased chemicals, has been named a winner of the Bloomberg New Energy Pioneer Award 2016.

Verdezyne was chosen by an independent panel of industry experts, assisted by Bloomberg analysts and technology experts, from a large pool of applicants from around the world. Candidates were assessed against three criteria: potential scale, innovation and momentum.

The 10 winners will be recognized on stage today at the ninth annual Bloomberg New Energy Finance Summit, at the Grand Hyatt New York.
